TCC ended, now what?

I finished my TCC and I’m really happy for a number of reasons. First one being that I was tired and wanted it to end soon, I put a lot of work into it in the end, but admittedly could have put in a lot more in the middle of the project and planned myself better. I’m the kind of person who likes to be organized in big projects, since I was doing this animation on my own, I had to be.

But it came to a stage where I kind of got fed up and I was tired, so I slacked a bit, which had its results in the end. I got unmotivated due to the lack of knowledge in many things, mainly software based. I had to repeat processes many times that I believe could have been solved in a much quicker way during 3D in Maya for example. I had to learn InDesign CS5 on my own and go after tutorials for the software’s I used. I had to stay up very late a couple of nights, and the day before my presentation I slept one and a half hours, as I was rendering and authoring the project on a DVD. But thankfully it all worked out well, and I was proud with the result I achieved.

Here’s the result of my TCC:

What do you think?

Now that I finished I have a bunch of things I want to do! I was very anxious to begin them and now I can finally get started! I’m going to list a couple:

  • Remake my site (make it more professional looking and divide it into three parts: Drawing, Digital Painting, 3D).
  • Finish my brothers site (we didn’t manage to finish it in the holidays).
  • Make Nathan’s site (got awesome ideas for it).
  • 3D practice! (Now it’s time to model a bunch!)
  • Game homework (study games, there are so many classics I haven’t played, unforgivable. So Nathan will be helping me with that).
  • Finish writing my book and get it published, so that I can start working on the game.

Lot’s of plans huh?
